    @ICEBREAKER31795 As wballe88 said, it is a very competitive industry to get into, but somebody has to do that job, so why not you?
    If you have the passion and the talent for the job then go for it.
    I chose to study product/industrial design myself, not only because it keeps my options more open, but also because it arguably makes you a better designer to have a diverse range of design experience…many arrows in your quiver if you want to call it that.

    I also wanted to become a car designer when I was younger but mate, its really competitive and its not so much about your skill, but also who you know – its like that with any good high-salary job.

    Perhaps your also interested in product design? I’m taking a design engineering course in Uni right now after realising that car design is too competitive and most car design students end up doing product design anyway.
