I thought the V70R would be much too fast, but that little Daihatsu was much quicker than I expected – saw over 140 KPM on the screen. Thought he’d made it when he went off road as well…

Besides that, al the V70 R’s deliver 300 horsepower, there is not such a model that delivers 350.. It might have a temporary horsepower boost because of the Turbo but it will never be up to 50hp, thats 15% of the totall power or something. The Manual and the automatic V70R have the same engine, although the manual version shifts faster than the geartronic.
But I think we agree.. It is a kow car, not for ofroading.
I’m sorry, for starters low means that the car has a low ground clearance. Secondly the volvo in the vid is about a 2000 model that doesn’t have those power figures. Thirdly, my dad owns two, a 2000 model v-70r and a 2006 model v-70r. the first of which is an automatic, the second a manual. The 2005 manual is the car that i learn to drive in, but has extra boost and more like 350hp. So don’t tell me it’s fast, because i know. And don’t tell me i’m wrong if you haven’t read my statement.
Jeah Right.. The V70R has 300 horsepower and an amazing 400nm of torque. 0 – 100 takes 6 seconds and its topspeed is limited at 250 km/h.. really slow for sure, especially for a stationcar.. :S Jeah right
those V70′s are specially adapted for police usage. This includes heavy duty shocks which raise the car up, and tires with a high ‘wall’ [like snow tires, except those tires are for "normal" usage

HAHA XD Is in Deutschland auch nicht anders, da werden auf einmal aus harmlosen Mercedes Sprintern, ungeheure Rennwagen mit mörder Fahrwerk und Beschleunigung. Habs bei meiner ersten Fahrstunde auch erlebt was aus nem VW Passat alles rauszuholen ist, der Typ hat in ner langgezogenen Kurve überholt. So stark das er fast die Leitpfosten mitm Heck gestriffen hätte und ne mords Staubwolke gemacht hat. Hatte Glück das Auto hat er noch heil gefangen bevor er ganz abgeflogen wäre
