Youngtimers addition - addition youngtimers adjusted
The action of Wouter van Embden against the increased addition of so-called young-timers (cars aged 15 to 25 years) has been successful. The previously adopted legislation allowing the addition would be greatly increased, with yesterday's strong support in the House reversed.
In November 2008 the Board adopted an amendment that initially was aimed at only the exemption holder's tax (road tax) on classic cars (cars older than 25 years) should be limited. As a bolt from heaven appeared shortly before the vote on the increase of aggregation youngtimers the modified amendment, which was adopted immediately afterwards. This measure meant that by January 1, 2010 for the addition would be youngtimers based on list price, whereas previously was based on the value in economic transactions (market value) of the car. The purpose of this change was a rejuvenation of the fleet.
Mistake, thanks!
The Ministry of Finance calculated that this change for the government 21 million euros extra tax money per year would bring.
Bijtellingyoungtimer.nl investigation has found that it would be 150 million.
Entrepreneurs saw the victim as a result of the operation load increases on average 500 euros net per month to meet.
Counterproductive
Not only did the Ministry of Finance figures calculated to be wrong, there is also insufficient account of the adverse effects of the measure.
From enqu (ee) at the same data shows that most of bijtellingyoungtimer.nl youngtimer their victims would swap for a vintage or a second car would buy more for private use.
This leads to both aging and increase the fleet, while the measure was specifically intended to rejuvenate the fleet.
Meanwhile, all parties in the House believe these adverse behavioral effects.
